You May Need Monthly Car Insurance

Monthly car insurance is something that affects us all it seems (at least for those who own, rent and drive a car). For those who don’t drive a car then you don’t realize the hassle finding quality, affordable insurance can be. Monthly car insurance is necessary to protect you and other drivers in case of an accident. We all think we are the best drivers are affected by uncontrollable circumstances on occasion.

There are numerous plans such as by-as-you-go or month-to-month plans which mean you may only pay for one month of insurance at a time. You may only need insurance for one month but less than a year, this plan would be ideal for you in most cases. For example, you may drive a convertible car that you only use during the summer months. Why would you pay insurance on that car when you drive it for only 2-3 months of the year? You may also want to insure your friend or family member if they will drive your car for one day or several. The month-to-month or day-by-day plans are very flexible and will give the coverage you need.

Obviously, you must drive the car in the predetermined time you and your insurance company discussed. Do not take out a week plan and drive our car for a month, you are putting yourself in jeopardy with your own safety and well being but jeopardizing your relationship with your insurance company.

You also have to become aware to the fact not all insurance companies offer the same coverage – some insurance companies may only offer a period of 28 days, 30 days or for a period of one to six months.

Acquiring monthly car insurance isn’t as difficult as one would assume. You first must know how long you want your coverage for and what type of coverage you need. You should become intimidated by the big bad car insurance companies. They are business like any other; the only difference is they have the reputation of being “bad” because they know all those who drive automobiles need car insurance.

Never risk driving your car without insurance, not ever. Why? Well, because the day you drive without car insurance will be the day something happens surely (but hopefully not). If you are loaning your car to a friend for the weekend or taking out your “summer car” for the first time all year, ensure you are covered with quality car insurance that meets all your needs.
